Where do we start?

  • Before we get started

    You can schedule a free 15-minute consultation call where we can get to know each other a bit. During this time you can ask me any questions you might have and we can figure out if we are a good fit.

  • After the consult

    After we talk and we schedule our first appointment, I will send you a link to my secure portal for you to fill out paperwork and sign up for appointment reminders.

  • Judge-Free zone

    Throughout therapy, we will talk about many things. There is nothing you can say that will shock me or make me think less of you. This space is for you to feel comfortable and safe.

First session

Telehealth can be a hit or miss with some people, but once we can get past the technology, things will feel less “weird”. Some people feel uneasy telling a counselor all about themselves, others feel like they throw everything out there on the first day. Both are normal.

We will talk about current things, past things, and any relevant medical or mental health history. We will discuss family, friends, and other forms of support. In the end, we will sort out your goals and work together to figure out the plan down your new road.
